Our customers search and discover user generated content (including with our computer vision technology, IRIS), curate it, manage digital rights and consent, and ultimately publish the content on their websites, social channels, ads, etc. Chute works with some of the world’s biggest brands and publishers including Benefit Cosmetics, Jack in the Box, Bose, Nikon, Wyndham, The Ritz-Carlton, Thomas Cook, NYC & Company, Visit San Francisco, Pure Michigan, and Norwegian Cruise Lines.

Job Description
Work on implementation and analysis of digital projects and implementation for Chute customers. The successful candidate will have a background in collaborating across different departments and teams, meeting deadlines, driving project implementation and delivery with a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.

The candidate will work across multiple internal team members and technical aspects of a project(s). She or he will work with the Customer Success team to implement and deliver tasks against defined requirements and deadlines. We’re looking for a responsible, articulate and motivated candidate who can quickly identify tasks, vulnerabilities, and obstacles and create innovative solutions to any problems. This role reports to the VP of Customer Success, and is an essential part of our nimble and fierce Chute Success team.

Our teams use software and tools including: Pivotal, Basecamp, Zendesk, and random scraps of paper to organize our work (but only in worst case scenario). This candidate should be competent across a wide variety of organization tools not just limited to the ones we’re using now, but bringing new perspectives and organizational mastery to our team. At the same time, we’re not going to get into dogmatic discussions of Waterfall vs. Agile. We’re too busy for that, and prefer to get s**t done.


  • Collaborate with internal teams to design, develop and implement digital projects
  • Implement and deliver tasks on time ensuring both quality standards and requirements are met
  • Seek opportunities for improvement and suggest new approaches and tools for project implementation and delivery
  • Develop any necessary support documentation including Chute feature how-to’s, requirement specifications, flow diagrams, etc.
  • Highlight and log potential risks or malfunctions and act proactively to resolve issues
  • Assist with Chute Support (Zendesk) to ensure customer SLA guidelines


  • Prior experience in a client services delivery or other customer-facing role; particularly in a digital or web-driven business
  • Process-oriented, organized, and a tenacious attention to detail
  • Hard-working, flexible, energetic and positive; works well with multiple teams/functions; thrives in a quick moving, high pressure environment; comfortable working directly with senior executives
  • Excellent conflict resolution skills, able to clarify needs, anticipate problems and be a resourceful and intuitive problem solver
  • Great communication and time management skills
  • A strong sense of urgency on a daily basis

Extra Credit

  • Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS) and/or SaaS products
  • Proven work experience in digital, or web based implementation and delivery
  • Basic knowledge of various web technologies, including experience with API’s
  • Excellent organizational, written and oral communication skills - the ability to convey a level of “technical jargon” from beginner level users, to developers in support tickets
  • BS/BA in industry relevant field
