Job Description

In your role as a visual designer, your day-to-day tasks will consist of creating visually engaging, innovative and functional marketing collateral and branding. Your ability to bring your vision and concepts to life will not only be welcomed but celebrated.

One of the key aspects of your role is a thorough understanding of the right balance between business, design and our customers and serving our brand’s purpose, business missions and customer needs.

Responsibilities

As our visual designer, your responsibilities will include areas of design such as all aspects of branding and visual marketing, both digital and print marketing collateral and supporting sales materials. The job is diverse and requires many hats. You'll be working on everything from translating research into visually compelling reports and infographics, to posters and event collateral, maintaining the visual identity of our website, supporting our sales team with essential graphics and presentation materials, working on our quarterly magazine, and more.

More responsibilities in detail:

  • Prepare work by gathering information and materials.
  • Generate clear ideas, concepts and designs of creative assets from beginning to end.
  • Work collaboratively with other designers and/or marketing team to ensure a consistent, integrated brand perception and user-experience.
  • Staying in the loop and on top of the latest standards, changes, trends in visual design field.
  • Work on email marketing items, presentation materials and interactive event materials.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in designing brand identities, editorial layouts and digital (including web) and print.
  • The ability to refine other people’s ideas and come up with new ones to create a highly designed visual experience.
  • Well organized, responsible and dedicated, with the ability to work on multiple projects and deliver refined design in a short time.
  • Self-learning, able to learn new tools quickly and work in a fast evolving environment.
  • Comfortable interacting, communicating and presenting ideas to team and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, and Keynote.
  • After Effects experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS; JavaScript is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design or equivalent experience in the design field.
